Roger was a great and humble man who motivated me just by our friendship. He had touched my life in such a positive way that I am a much better person to have known Roger. God will continue to use Roger as a beacon in all of our lives. My thoughts and prayers.

Ray,Charlotte,Cathy and Carin: I don't even know how to say this....Roger was a very special person. He was such a cute kid. I just wish I had really known the adult Roger!! Little League baseball was such a delight. If he wasn't in the play he pushed others on. Can remember him riding along to games to see his big sisters cheer. If he wasn't in the big play he was the pusher. Those people are the special ones. And Roger was one of the best. No he was the best.

I was sure that I had made a mistake by pursuing a job in the teaching/coaching field...Roger was the person who took me under his wing and made me a better teacher, coach, and person. If it wasn't for Roger, I would have missed out on so many great experiences...Thank you Roger Carter, you will be missed

So sorry to hear of your loss. My husband and I went to high school with Roger and then he had my oldest daughter in his class at Sherwood. You are all in our prayers. He will be greatly missed by all his class mates and students I'm sure.
