Obituary for Deborah Joe Turner-Lujan

Deborah Joe Turner-Lujan, of Kansas City, Missouri was born April 16, 1953 in Ontario, Oregon the daughter of Darrel Otis and Iva Joe Elvie (Dyess) Turner. She departed this life on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by love and family at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 6 days.

On August 1, 1998, Deborah was united in marriage to James Franklin Lujan in Kansas City, Missouri.

Deborah completed beauty school and obtained her cosmetology license in 1971. She was a hair stylist and owned and operated her own hair salon, Hair Etc. and was also an artist and loved to paint. Deborah was an active member of the Gospel Fellowship Church, Grandview, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her father on May 6, 2014; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Lloyd on December 26, 2012 and a sister, Lucy Lynn Turner on February 26, 2013.

Deborah is survived by her husband, James Lujan of the home; two sons, Clinton Christopher Chamberlain and wife Sonny, Madison, Wisconsin and Michael Delon White and wife Mary, Grain Valley, Missouri; 5 grandchildren, Dylan, Amber, Quinn, Alexis and Neville; her mother, Iva Joe Elvie Dyess, Lee's Summit, Missouri; two sisters, Nancy Jane Shore and husband Charles, Blue Springs, Missouri, Doris Amy Cole and husband Kent, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; loving nephews and their families, and many clients and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Gospel Fellowship Church, 13011 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri 64030 with burial in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.

Visitation was held Friday, July 27, 2018 at the Gospel Fellowship Church, Grandview, Missouri.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
