Pauline M. Hartzler

March 6, 1922 — November 13, 2017

Pauline Margaret Hartzler, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born March 6, 1922 in La Junta, Colorado the daughter of Paul and Fannie (Shank) Hershey. She departed this life on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her home near Harrisonville surrounded by love and family at the age of 95 years, 8 months and 7 days.

On January 16, 1949, Pauline was united in marriage to Allen Lee Hartzler in Cheraw, Colorado.

Pauline was a homemaker and farmer's wife and a wonderful mother to 4 children. She was very faithful in doing the daily necessities for her family. Later she was an RN for a couple of years at the Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville. Pauline attended and was a charter member of the Harrisonville Mennonite Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hartzler on January 7, 2016; a son, Paul Allen Hartzler on August 7, 1981; two sisters, Florence Hershey and Dorothy Hartzler.

Pauline is survived by her son, Owen James Hartzler, Harrisonville, Missouri; two daughters, Frances Hartzler, Kansas City, Missouri, Linda Floyd and husband, Noel, Harrisonville, Missouri; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joy Blair, Evanston, Illinois, Jean Hershey, Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and friends.

Funeral service were held Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Harrisonville Community Church, 1606 Chapel Drive, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Clearfork Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
