Richard Walter Carter, of East Lynne, Missouri was born March 23, 1959 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Charles Walter Carter and Nancy Ann (Woodrome) Sipes. He departed this life on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at his home at the age of 58 years, 9 months and 14 days.
Richard was employed as a laborer for Johnny's Tire Shop and Roberts Tire Shop in Harrisonville until his retirement in 2012. He was a Navy veteran.
Besides his father, Richard was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Carter.
Richard is survived by his mother, Nancy Sipes of Harrisonville, Missouri; two sons, Ryan Carter, Raytown, Missouri, Randall Carter, Holden, Missouri; two daughters, Tiffany Hehner and husband Ricky, Edwardsville, Kansas, Riccole Carter, Holden, Missouri; 7 grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Sipes and wife Lea, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Tim Sipes and wife Dena, Glendale, Arizona; three sisters, Charlene Pinkney and husband Walt, Summersville, South Carolina, Cindy Ferguson and husband Johnny, Holden, Missouri, Barbara Grey and husband Bill, Oak Harbor, Washington; other relatives and friends.
Cremation. Inurnment will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri at a later date.
