Adam Darin Veach, of Independence, Missouri was born April 13, 1975 the son of Edward Lee Veach and Tanda Joy (Fulkerson) Allen. He departed this life Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Independence, Missouri at the age of 36 years, 1 month and 1 day.
Adam had been employed as a pilot for Independence Air, Washington, D.C. and really loved to fly. He was a 1993 graduate of O’Hara High School and a 1997 graduate of Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, Missouri. Adam loved going to the Lake of the Ozarks, boating, water skiing and all kinds of water sports. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his guitar and was fond of his two Ford Mustangs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather.
Adam is survived by his father and step-mother, Eddie and Sandy Veach, Independence, Missouri; his mother and step-father, Tanda and Bob Allen, Cleveland, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Vida Veach, Freeman, Missouri; a brother, Brett Allen, Independence, Missouri; a sister, Vanessa Allen, Cleveland, Missouri; his godparents, Harold and Linda Kurzweil, Freeman, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
