Allen K. Michael

Allen Keith Michael of Garden City, Missouri was born April 30, 1944 in Lodi, California the son of Fred Young and Patricia Lea Michael. He departed this life on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 22 days.
On May 27, 1967 Allen was united in marriage to Marilyn Louise Cumpton in Creighton, Missouri.
Allen was employed as a metal cabinet finisher for Mid West Metals in Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1983. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Harrisonville, Missouri. Allen enjoyed his garden, yard work, playing cards and collecting coins. He will remembered for his love of family and loving life.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn on August 6, 1994; his two sisters, Brenda Wilson and Saundra Copeland.
Allen is survived by a son, Allen K. Michael Jr., Garden City, Missouri; two daughters, Tania Butler, Independence, Missouri, Mary Alice Michael, Garden City, Missouri; two grandchildren, Tera and David; four brothers, Bobby Bryant and Rick Bryant both of Creighton, Missouri, Ronny Bryant, Harrisonville, Missouri, Randy Bryant, Urich, Missouri; a sister, Roberta Baker, Urich, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the Dayton Cemetery near Garden City, Missouri.
