Curtisa Allene “Allie” Beneke, of Peculiar, Missouri was born May 7, 1945 in Hanneyville, Kentucky the daughter of Joseph Curtis and Mary Lou (Gasaway) Turpen. She departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 13 days.
On February 14, 1996, Allie was united in marriage to Steven "Steve" Cary Beneke in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Allie was a Reiki master and a therapeutic masseuse and owned and operated Healing Hands Health and Wellness in Peculiar, Missouri. She was a member of the Berean Fellowship in Harrisonville, Missouri. Allie received her Doctorate in Divinity.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Beneke on December 26, 2017; and a granddaughter, Courtney Nicole Batson.
Allie is survived by four sons, Dale Batson and wife Pam, of Florence, Texas, Terry Batson and wife Wanda, of Huntsville, Texas, Bryan Batson and wife Laura, of Lansing, Kansas, Roger Batson and wife Tina, of Henderson, Nevada; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Donna Leibrock, of Caltabon Heights, California, Butch Turpen, of Ontario, Oregon, Joetta Lester, of Yucaipa, California, Anita Hernandez, of Harrisonville, Missouri, and Chad Turpen, of Santa Rosa, New Mexico; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the Gospel Fellowship, 13011 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri.
Inurnment will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri at a later date.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
