Arnold Raymond Westpfahl of Freeman, Missouri was born March 24, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Ernest and Nellie (Galloway) Westpfahl. He departed this life on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 92 years, 3 months and 21 days. Arnold was united in marriage to Anna Mae Eaton on December 30, 1950 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Arnold was employed as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witness, Harrisonville, Missouri. Arnold enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and working in the timber. He had moved to near Freeman, Missouri in December of 1958. Besides his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by three brothers, Ernest, Rudolph and Morgan; three sisters, Viola, Nellie and Stella. Arnold is survived by his wife, Anna Westpfahl of the home; a daughter, Laura Oxford, Cassville, Missouri; two sons, Gregg Westpfahl and wife, Lynette, Freeman, Missouri, Mark Westpfahl and wife, Y’Vonna, Fort Smith, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; a brother, Wilbur Westpfahl, Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Pearl Davis and Norma VanGordon both of Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 21904 E. 283rd St., Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation.
