Arthur (Art) lived his life from October 3, 1937 until November 25, 2013. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Arthur Edward Fischer and Jesse Josephine Fischer (Beckman). He was the second of three children.
Art graduated from high school in Chicago, Illinois and at the age of nineteen, joined the United States Air Force. Art took great pride in the service to his country.
After discharge from the Air Force, Art pursued a career in auto mechanics, owning his own shop in Sedalia, MO, working for various dealerships in the area and Kansas City. From here, he moved on to Denver, Colorado and finally to Las Vegas, Nevada. In Las Vegas, with much dedication, he worked for El Monte RV Corporation until his retirement.
In 2009, Art moved back to Missouri with his beloved dog, Mikki, to be with his children and their families. He loved to tinker with everything and could fix anything set before him. His days were spent detailing his prized truck when possible, laughing with family and friends and admiring the flower garden from the patio of his daughter’s residence that he called “home”.
