Beverly Ann Gaddy

Beverly Ann Gaddy-Haston, 56, of Raymore, Missouri was born July 27, 1955 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Eldon Laverne and Erma Louise (Rowlett) Gaddy. She was called to heaven on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri after battling cancer. Bev was employed at the Ray-Pec School district for many years. She spent 20 years of her life with her husband Jim. Bev enjoyed riding her horse, being outdoors, fishing, her music, dancing, watching drag racing, John Wayne movies, and the Raiders play football, her animals, and most of all the interactions with people. Bev knew how to leave an impression on people and loved her family intensely. She opened her home and heart up to many and you always knew where you stood with her. Bev demanded that everyone around her had fun and had a zest for life. She was a member of the National Rifle Association and wildlife federation. Bev will be remembered for her humility, thoughtfulness, love, compassion and humor. She will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bev is survived by her husband, Jim Haston of the home; a son, Brian Gaddy, Gunn City, Missouri; 3 sisters, Erma Herndon, Cleveland, Missouri, Loretta O’Connor and husband Jim, and Wanda Gaddy all of Garden City, Missouri; 4 brothers, Larry Gaddy Sr. and wife Kris, Steinauer, Nebraska, Gary Gaddy, Garden City, Missouri, Bill Gaddy and wife Jourdyn, Belton, Missouri and Ron Gaddy, Harrisonville, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
