Bonnie Louise McWilliams, Harrisonville, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, December 10, 2010. She was born on January 24, 1923 in Archie, Missouri to Fred and Florence (Long) McGraw.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Warren Eugene McWilliams, on April 2, 1942.
Prior to their recent move to Raymore, they lived in Harrisonville for nearly 60 years where they were members of The First Baptist Church.
Bonnie was a devoted homemaker, renowned for her apple pie. She was the bride of a World War II serviceman and spent the early years of her marriage working at a munitions factory while waiting for her husband to return home. As a young mother, she worked at the Grace Company in Kansas City. She retired from Scavuzzo?s in 1980 after 25 years of service.
Bonnie treasured every minute she spent with her family. She enjoyed genealogy and compiled a family history that will be cherished for generations to come. She loved to travel. Whether visiting family scattered across the United States or cruising to the Panama Canal or Alaska, she was always ready for a new experience. As longtime members of the Kansas City Model A Club, Bonnie and Warren crossed the Rockies with their Model A, and trekked to cities like Omaha and Hershey.
Bonnie?s love of quilting blossomed during her retirement years. The legacy of quilts she gifted over the years will remind us of her sweet and generous spirit.
