Burris Keith Pulliam of Clinton, Missouri was born June 3, 1943 in the Dayton Community near Garden City, Missouri the son of Burris Jenkins and Alta Louise (Beamon) Pulliam. He departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2016 at his home near Clinton at the age of 73 years, 4 months and 11 days.
Keith was employed as a supervisor for Michael's Foundation Company, Pleasant Hill, Missouri until his retirement in 2005. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong hunter and fisherman. Keith loved nothing more than a day fishing with his buddies, enjoying a cold beer in the garage with family and friends and always looking forward to mushroom season in the spring. A point of pride for him was taking care of his mother's house and yard after his father's death. Keith was very kind -hearted and giving man. His laugh, his wit and his tales will be remembered by his family and friends for years to come.
Besides his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Derald; two sisters, Loretta Dawson and Donita Askew.
Keith is survived by two daughters, Alisa Rich (John), Troutdale, Oregon, Kelli Fox (Paul Abbott), Clinton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Tasha, Logan and Lacie; his brother, Johnnie A. Pulliam, Liberty, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Final arrangements entrusted to Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
