Christine Dobson

Mrs. Ina Christine Dobson of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 9, 1919 the daughter of Lawrence Webster and Florence Mae (Howe) Thompson. She departed this life Saturday, January 31, 2009 at her home in Harrisonville at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 22 days.
Christine attended Olive Grade School and graduated from Ballard High School. On December 25, 1937, she was united in marriage to Charles Franklin Dobson in Harrisonville. Three children were born to this union, son, Buddie Lee and two daughters, Margaret Jean and Dorothy Mae.
After her children were grown, Christine was employed at AT&T for 20 years until her retirement in 1982. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Glen ?Bud? Thompson.
Christine is survived by her husband, Frank Dobson of the home; a son, Buddie Lee Dobson and wife Shirley, Raytown, Missouri; two daughters, Margaret Jean Bricker and Dorothy Mae Homan and husband, Thay all of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a brother, Junior Thompson, Butler, Missouri; two sisters, Hazel Shelton, Raymore, Missouri and Jean Garrison, Adrian, Missouri; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, Missouri.
