Connie L. (Cox) Greene

Connie Louise Greene, 64, of Pleasant Hill, was born, June 18, 1953, Kansas City. She departed this life Thursday, January 11, 2018, at her parents’ home in Pleasant Hill.

Connie was a 1971 Pleasant Hill High School graduate.

In 1974 she was united in marriage to Sonny Czeschin; they later divorced but remained good friends. She was then united in marriage to Mike Green; they later divorced.

Connie was employed as an Inspector for Bakan Plastics and Bendex. She later became a CNA and provided home health care for the homebound. She enjoyed arranging flowers and shopping. She also had a gift of writing. She loved animals and was especially fond of her dog Bubba.

Connie was preceded in death by her brother Robert Pridgen in 1983.

She is survived by her mother and step-father Betty and Jim Lotspeich of Pleasant Hill; her father and step-mother Charles (and Laura) Cox of New Mexico; one sister, Kathy (and Rick) Warner of Buffalo, Missouri; one step-sister Lori Lotspeich Stiffler; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Elder Butch Shewmaker will officiate. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Mike Bush, Dennis Gregg, Gary Gregg, Brian Warner, Chris Warner, and Jeremy Warner.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pleasant Hill V.F.W. Post #3118 Veterans Relief Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
