Robert Curtis Webber was born July 30, 1933 the son of Jack Webber of Richland Missouri and Cecil Bradshaw of Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Curtis grew up around Pleasant Hill, Missouri where he graduated high school in 1951. 1952 was a big year for Curtis, he joined the Coast Guard and on its last day, December 31, 1952, he was united in marriage to Barbara Lee Brown.
Curtis served 22 years in the military and in that time he raised 4 children, William Curtis, Robert, Cristie and Larry. He was a good father and husband. He and Barbara shared almost 60 years together when Barbara passed from this life.
On March 29, 2015, Curtis and Barbara were reunited in heaven.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, and his eldest sister, Hester Vowels.
He is survived by his younger sister, Patricia Dyke; his four children, William Curtis, Robert, Cristie and Larry; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Curt will be missed, always loved and remembered. Cremation. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville, Missouri.
A private family inurnment will be held at Crescent Hill Cemetery near Adrian, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
