Raymond Dale Wehmeyer of Creighton, Missouri was born September 23, 1935 near Creighton, Missouri the son of Robert Raymond and Ruth Lucille (Solomon) Wehmeyer. He departed this life Sunday, April 23, 2006, Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri at the age of 70 years, 8 months.
On, December 8, 1956, Dale was united in marriage to Mary Alice Vann in Urich, Missouri.
Dale was a farmer and stockman. He was a member of the Quick City Christian Church, Creighton Fire Department and board member of the Creighton Fire District, board member of the Grant Cemetery Association and the Bogard Township Road Board. Dale attended Creighton schools and was a lifelong area resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. Wehmeyer of the home; a son, Steven Wehmeyer and wife, Tammy, Creighton, Missouri; two daughters, Danita Wagoner and husband, Doug, Creighton, Missouri, Diana Richardson, Fort Wayne, Indiana; three grandchildren; Josh, Brandon and Kaylon; a sister, Donna Borum, Creighton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Grant Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions to the Grant Cemetery Association.
