David Easton

David Easton of Harrisonville, Missouri was born February 9, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Bobby R. and Rose Irene (Templeton) Easton. He departed this life on Friday, November 28, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 50 years, 9 months and 19 days.
David owned and operated Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Harrisonville for the past 17 years where his employees and many of the patrons became like family to him. He had been in the restaurant business for 23 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Raymore, Missouri and had accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of seven. David enjoyed the challenge of learning to do new things with his hands, and he accomplished many of them because he was a quick learner. David was a courageous person coming back from a stroke in 2007 and his facing cancer this year. He drew closer to the Lord, family, friends and patrons. Through his ill health, the realization of the number of friends he had was made evident.
He is survived by his parents, Bob and Rose Easton, Joplin, Missouri; three brothers, Robert Easton and wife, Lori Jo, Peculiar, Missouri, Richard Easton and wife, Lorie, Raymore, Missouri; James Easton and wife, Liz, Joplin, Missouri; five nieces and one nephew who thought Uncle Dave was pretty special; other relatives and many fiends. He will be missed by many whom his life touched.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at the First Baptist Church Raymore, Raymore, Missouri.
