He is survived by his grandmother, Lula Powell, Olathe, Kansas; 8 children; 18 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two brothers and two sisters; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at the United Methodist Church, Garden City, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at the church.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 17, 2016 at the Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the David Rew Memorial Fund.
