Deanna L. Kimbrell

June 9, 1964 — June 16, 2016

Deanna Lynn Kimbrell was born in Kansas City, MO on June 9, 1964 to William Galey and Bonita (Genelin) Galey. She attended Kansas State University for 7 years, studying architectural engineering. Deanna’s most recent place of employment was Henderson Engineers Inc. where she was the BIM Specialist, training team members in Revit and other drafting software. She also owned the Jazzercise center in Harrisonville; an activity she lived and breathed. She truly enjoyed encouraging others to be physically fit and getting them to love it as much as she did. In addition, Deanna was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes parish, teaching School of Religion, participating on the Parish Council, and sewing banners and vestments. She was a woman of tradition; she sewed, quilted, gardened, and baked. For us lucky ones, we knew her for the hundreds of homemade Christmas cookies and other goodies she generously gave away each year. However, we all know Deanna for her pure, kind heart, gracious love, and never-ending faith. This amazing woman parted from us on June 16, 2016. May God keep her close and help us all find comfort.
Deanna is survived by her husband, Garry Kimbrell, and daughters, Samantha and Kristen Kimbrell, mother, Bonita (Genelin) Galey (Leawood, KS), brother, Michael Galey (Camdenton,MO), brother, Christopher Galey (Lakewood, CO), sister, Angela Doherty (Olathe, KS), and brother, Jeff Galey (Port Townsend, WA).
