Mrs. Daphine Delores Crust ""Grandma Daffy"" of Garden City, Missouri was born March 12, 1921 in Jericho Springs, Missouri the daughter of Marion Columbus and Annie Belle (Fowler) Nasalroad. She departed this life Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at her home near Garden City at the age of 86 years, 5 months and 2 days.
On March 27, 1949, Delores was united in marriage to Marvin Delbert Crust.
Delores was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening and the outdoors. Delores loved her family and grandchildren and she enjoyed being called ""Grandma Daffy or Sissy"". She had lived in Creighton before moving to Garden City in 1954.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert on April 17, 2002; six brothers, Jack, Dan, Ned, Bill, Byerl and Shelby ""Red""; five sisters, Velma, Judy, Mary, Ruth and Clida.
She is survived by two sons, William ""Del"" Crust and wife, Cindy, Blue Springs, Missouri, John Crust and wife, Tina, Garden City, Missouri; four grandchildren, Joseph, Andrew, Marvin and Tonya; a great-grandson, Gabriel; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Friendship Meals.
