Mrs. Dixie Lynn Gardisky of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 7, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa. She departed this life Monday, April 3, 2006 at her home.
On June 17, 1987, Dixie was united in marriage to Robert L. Gardisky in Harrisonville.
Dixie was a practicing psychologist with the Department of Corrections for the State of Missouri. She was a loving sister, mother and grandmother who enjoyed quilting, reading and all life had to offer.
Besides her parents Charlene and Richard, she was preceded in death by her brothers, David and Jerry Ray.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Gardisky; her step-father, Ronald; two brothers, Jimmy and Michael; two sisters, Kay and Sandra; three children, Laurie and husband Jim, Kristy, Doug and wife Cindy; her step-children, Debbie, Patti and Geoff. Surely her grandchildren, Braxton, Dakota, Kayden, Kylie, Andrew, Miranda, Jenna, Jorri, Matthew, Nathan Kathy, Bradley, Shawn and Dana as well as her great-grandchildren Aden and Bailey will miss her greatly.
Funeral services were held, Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville with cremation.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
