Doyle Andrew Finehart

Doyle Andrew Finehart of Urich, Missouri was born June 24, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Richard Frank and Mary Jane (Mackey) Finehart. He departed this life on Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home surrounded by love and family at the age of 67 years, 1 month and 30 days.

On May 12, 1984, Doyle was united in marriage to Janey Noreen Chaney in Raymore, Missouri.

Doyle was a self employed painter. He loved to hunt, fish and his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, canning and was an all around handyman and often joked that he was a “stay at home husband”.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Rose and his mother-in-law, Marjorie Chaney.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Janey Finehart of the home; a son, Kile Chaney and wife Erica, Harrisonville, Missouri; a daughter, Regina Severance and husband Drew, Branford, Florida; 7 grandchildren, Candace, Mikala, Tawney, Haley, Mason, Adelyn and Wyatt; 3 sisters, Jo Brookshire and husband Rex, Edinburg, Texas, Mary Gregory and husband Darren, Gravois Mills, Missouri, Diane Reeves and husband Eddie, Dallas, Texas, Debi Jones and husband Fred, Allen, Texas; his sister-in-law, Ann Chaney of the home; a brother-in-law Lennie Chaney and partner Chris Orr of Creighton, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the Eagle Creek Church in the Mill Walk Mall, 2791 Cantrell Road, Harrisonville, Missouri.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the church.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Society.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
