Earl Daniel Goodson of Kansas City, Missouri was born February 22, 1953 in Raytown, Missouri the son of Howard Audrey and Kathryn Louise (Stoll) Goodson. He departed this life on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at St. Luke?s Northland Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 56 years and 29 days.
On September 26, 1987, Earl was united in marriage to Janine Kay Gallup surrounded by his family and friends in Gladstone, Missouri.
Earl was employed as a surveyor for the Kansas City District, United States Army Corp of Engineers since 1988. He was an Army veteran and was a graduate of U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Earl enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, making car models and barbequing. He had lived in Oklahoma City before moving to Missouri where he resided.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant twin sisters, Sondra and Ronda.
He is survived by his wife, Janine Kay Goodson and his son Audrey Neal Goodson both of the home; four brothers, Charles Goodson and Terry Goodson both of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lonnie Goodson and Greg Goodson both of Kansas City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services were held Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation with inurnment at the Garden City Cemetery, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the Earl Goodson Memorial Fund.
