Elizabeth Ann Ellis

Elizabeth Ann Ellis age 57, was called home Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital, Clinton, Missouri. She was born December 14, 1960, the daughter to Hugh Jr and Roberta Clinton. She married the love of her life, Eric Ellis, on October 14, 1989.

Liz is survived by her three sons, Dan Malone and his fiancé` Mikka Emick of Urich, Missouri, Steven Malone and his wife Paula of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Kyle Hanavan and his wife Missie Doran of Grandview, Missouri, and her fourth “son” and best friend Hunter Mackey. Fourteen grandchildren and one great - grandchild; Kayla, Haylee, Moochie, Anastasia, Collin, Alexis, Daniel, Julian, Keagan, Ayden, Kylyn, Khloe, Laine, Pyper, and Keaton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Clinton Jr., her mother, Roberta Norman, and her husband, Eric Ellis.

Liz was full of laughter and enjoyed spending time with her family but most of all she loved being Nana. She enjoyed taking her grandkids swimming, to the movies, out on birthday dinners, teaching them how to fish, or just having sleep overs. Liz loved every opportunity to have BBQ’s and get-togethers with family and friends, especially if she got to cook for everyone.

Liz has lived the majority of her life in Kansas City and moved to Urich MO in June of 2017. The community instantly fell in love with her sassy attitude and contagious smile. She was a regular at the ballpark, cheering on her family and friends. She always gave a helping hand and supported the local organizations in any way she could.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri. Cremation.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
