Evelyn Lucille Mickelberry of Urich, Missouri the daughter of Cecil Lawrence and Nina Irene (Stayton) Page was born January 5, 1933 near Urich, Missouri. She departed this life on Monday, February 29, 2016 at her home near Urich surrounded by love and family at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 24 days.
On February 4, 1953 Evelyn was united in marriage to Roy Allen Mickelberry in Butler, Missouri.
Evelyn was employed as an assembler for AT&T Technologies in Lee's Summit, Missouri before her retirement. She attended Lucas United Methodist Church near Urich, Missouri and was a lifelong area resident. Evelyn enjoyed her family, crocheting, dancing, fishing, going out with the "Lunch Bunch", staying busy and going to all of the grandchildren sporting events.
Besides her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roy on August 24, 2010; two brothers, Lawrence and Richard Page, two sisters, Wilma Love and Barbara Sweet; a son-in-law, Bob Claiborne.
Evelyn is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Claiborne-Smith (Lucky), Ballard, Missouri, Peggy Stubblefield (David), Warsaw, Missouri, Terry Bownan (Glenn), Archie, Missouri; twelve grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Page, Butler, Missouri; two sisters, Donna Taylor and Goldie Fern Page both of Adrian, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Friday, March 4, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Missouri Cemetery.
The family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
