Obituary for Francisco Castro

Francisco Castro, 59, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Naples, Florida, was born, April 3, 1960, in Brownsville, Texas, the son of Valentin and Antonia (Trevina) Castro. He departed this life, Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Francisco attended Naples High School in Naples, Florida.

On April 20, 1981, he was united in marriage to Antonia Martinez in Naples. She preceded him in death on March 29, 2001.

Francisco was also preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Juan Castro; and one sister, Dominga Castro.

He is survived by three children, Francisco Castro of Harrisonville, Missouri, Syria (and David) Bouery, and Veronica (and David) Rivera, both of Pleasant Hill; seven grandchildren, Oren Castro, John Scott Jarvis, Jr., Aaron Christopher Jarvis, Lauren Bueller Fernandez, David Rivera, Jr., Johnathan Rivera Jozlyine Rivera; two great grandchildren, Sarah Lillian and Isabella; two brothers, Jose Castro of Brownsville, and Luis (and Maria) Castro of Naples; three sisters, Rosa Castro of Brownsville, Alicia Castro of Ft. Worth, Texas, Delia Castro of Mexico; other relatives and friends.

Francisco was a well known and accomplished landscaper in the Naples area. He enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, spending time outdoors, and enjoyed working on cars.

A memorial gathering was held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Springdale Lake Club House, 5 Springdale Dr., Belton, Missouri 64012.
