Garry Gaddy

Garry Lynn Gaddy of Garden City, Missouri was born January 3, 1944 in Graham, Missouri the son of Eldon Laverne and Erma Louise (Rowlette) Gaddy. He departed this life on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by love and family at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Garry was employed as a supervisor for Associated Wholesale Grocers, Kansas City, Kansas until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of Teamsters Local 955, Kansas City, Kansas. Garry enjoyed the outdoors, nature, riding horses and raising cattle. He had lived in Cleveland, Missouri before moving to Garden City in 1993.
Besides his parents, Garry was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Gaddy-Haston.
Garry is survived by his two daughters, Tammy S. Egelston (Brett), Leeton, Missouri, Sherry L. Allen (Patrick Beyers), Raymore, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nick, Dustin and Jacob; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Gaddy Sr., Steinauer, Nebraska, Bill Gaddy, Belton, Missouri, Ron Gaddy, Garden City, Missouri; three sisters, Erma Herndon, Cleveland, Missouri, Loretta O'Connor, Garden City, Missouri, Wanda Gaddy, Archie, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville
