Gloria Ann Rayburn of Garden City, Missouri was born February 4, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Sandra Kay Cooper. She departed this life on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at her home in Garden City surrounded by her family at the age of 49 years, 3 months and 20 days.
Gloria was a wonderful mother and grandmother and had a big heart for everyone. She enjoyed watching T.V. and reading books. Gloria had lived in Kansas City, Missouri and Hiawatha, Kansas before moving to Garden City in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Gloria is survived by 3 sons, Samuel Rayburn and wife, Tabatha, Sedalia, Missouri, Joshua Rayburn and wife, Penny and Timothy Rayburn all of Garden City, Missouri; 2 daughters, Rachel Rayburn, Independence, Missouri, Ashley Rayburn, Raytown, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; a brother, Roy Tidwell Jr., Hiawatha, Kansas; 4 sisters, Sandra Walker and Teresa Gauger both of Hiawatha, Kansas, Brenda Rayburn and Wanda Tidwell both of Kansas City, Missouri; 14 nieces; 9 nephews; 12 great-nephews; 16 great-nieces; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 a the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Strasburg Cemetery, Strasburg, Missouri.
