Edward Grady McDonald Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri was born January 4, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Edward "Bud" Grady Sr. and Virginia Ellen (Mitchell) McDonald. He departed this life on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Meadowview of Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 61 years and 28 days.
Grady was employed professionally in sales for many years and worked at a multitude of different companies in Kansas City. As an earlier career he was a DJ for KBEQ, a classic rock radio station, under the call name "Grady McCrae". Grady loved music, instilling an appreciation for American rock music in everyone around him. He was a passionate sports fan, pledging deep allegiance to all Kansas City-based teams. This was especially true of his beloved Kansas City Chiefs, for which he held season tickets at Arrowhead Stadium for many years. No matter what he was doing, he could usually be found with a can of Diet Dr. Pepper in his hand. He loved his family and was a very supportive dad to his kids in their extra-curricular activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Grady is survived by his son, Dale Edward McDonald and fiancée, Desiree I. Jones, Ridgeland, Mississippi and a daughter, Kayla Sue McDonald, Raymore, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside service were held Monday, February 5, 2018 at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
