Greg Michael Smith, of Creighton, Missouri, was born June 26, 1984 in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Ivan Lee and Kathy Lynn (Gregory) Smith. He departed this life Monday, October 3, 2005, at his home at the age of 21 years, 3 months and 7 days.
Greg was employed as a carpenter for D & S Framing, Garden City, Missouri. Earlier he was employed on the Mississippi River as a deck hand for Memco Company, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Greg was a 2002 graduate of Sherwood High School, Creighton. He enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, fishing and looking for Indian arrow heads. Greg was a lifelong area resident.
He is survived by his parents, Ivan L. and Kathy Smith, and one sister, Jenna Smith, all of the home; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Marlene Gregory; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. Memorial service was held Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
