nfant Kilian Michael Gene Harvkey was born at 11:09 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014, the son of Zachary Eugene and Krista A’Dawn (Klemenz) Harvkey. He departed this life at 1:35 p.m. on the same day as a result of the chromosome abnormality Trisomy 18.
Although Kilian was with us for a short time, he touched the lives of all who witnessed his birth and shared in his brief life here on earth; especially his older sister Rylea.
He is survived by his parents Zak and Krista of Pleasant Hill; his sister Rylea of the home; paternal grandparents, Russell and Kathleen Harvkey of Grain Valley; maternal grandparents, James and Frankie Klemenz of Lee’s Summit; his aunts, Amie (and Fernando) Cortinas, and Melissa (and Chris) Thornsberry, of Pleasant Hill; several nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Monsignor Robert Murphy of St. Bridget Catholic Church will officiate. Interment will be in the Lone Jack Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
