Jackie Jean Miller of Harrisonville, Missouri was born July 14, 1943 in Norfolk, Virginia the daughter of Jack Eugene and Hallie Thelma (Black) Miller. She departed this life on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at her home in Harrisonville at the age of 65 years, 2 months and 20 days.
Jackie was employed as office manager for the Cass County Assessor?s Office in Harrisonville from 1980 until 1992. She was attending the First Baptist Church, Garden City. Jackie received her education in the Harrisonville School District and continued her education by attending Longview Community College, Lee?s Summit, Missouri. She enjoyed her family, her grandchildren, the outdoors, going fishing and scrap booking. Jackie was a lifelong area resident.
Besides her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her brother, Jimmy D. Miller.
She is survived by four daughters, Cathy S. Thomas Pirtle and Jeanne L. Naylor Crust and husband, Robert both of Harrisonville, Missouri, Connie L. Harris and husband, John, Urich, Missouri, Ann M. Naylor Heeter and husband, William, Grain Valley, Missouri; a ?Nanny? to eleven grandchildren and a great-grandson; a brother, Harry F. Miller, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; a sister, Sharon Sidwell and husband, Richard, Garden City, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial services were held Thursday, October 9, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Children's Ministry, Garden City, Missouri.
