James B. Taylor the son of Bruce James and Judith Kay (Pemberton) Taylor. He departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2012 at his home near Harrisonville at the age of 41 years, 4 months and 3 days.
On August 12, 1995, James was united in marriage to Crystal Tomas Donath in Jacksonville, North Carolina and together they had 4 children. James was employed as a Union Electrician since 1997 for the IBEW Local #124, Kansas City, Missouri until December of 2011 when he got too sick to continue working. He was a 1989 graduate of the Blue Springs, Missouri High School and then joined the Marine Corp in 1990 and served until 1996. James loved playing the guitar, singing to Karaoke, riding his motorcycle and working with wood and building things.
James is survived by his wife, Crystal T. Taylor; four children, Rebecca, Sarah, Julia and Jimmy Taylor all of the home; his parents, Bruce and Judith Taylor, Eagle Rock, Missouri; two brothers, Michael Taylor, Garden City, Missouri, Russell Taylor, Harrisonville, Missouri; two sisters, Shari Wheeldon, Ozark, Missouri, Lisa Staggs, Blue Springs, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the KU Cancer Center.
