Mrs. Janet Marie Stafford of Harrisonville, Missouri was born April 12, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas the daughter of Woodrow Allen and Isabelle Irene (Germann) Bruce. She departed this life Saturday, July 15, 2006 at her home near Harrisonville at the age of 56 years, 3 months and 3 days.
On July 21, 1991, Janet was united in marriage to Calvin Stafford, Jr. in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Janet was employed as a realtor for Caldwell Banker All American in Raymore, Missouri the past 8 years. She received her real estate license in 1994. She was a member of Harrisonville Mennonite Church and the sisters and care groups, Harrisonville. Janet enjoyed her family and grandchildren. She had lived in East Lynne, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in 1994.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard O. and Randy G. Bruce.
She is survived by her husband, Calvin Stafford, Jr. of the home; a son, Bradley D. Dreyer and wife, Michelle, a step-son, Michael Stafford all of Harrisonville, Missouri; six grandchildren, Caleb, Rebekah, Joshua, Amelia, Marissa and Tessa; her mother, Isabelle Bruce, Harrisonville, Missouri; a brother, Curtis A. Bruce, Harrisonville, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at the Harrisonville Mennonite Church with burial in the Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Grandchildren's Education Fund.
