Jefferson W. JW Cryderman, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born October 1st, 1927 in Marionville, Missouri, the son of John Mathis and Elsie Ellen (White) Cryderman. He departed this life on Friday, September 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by love and family.
JW was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II in the Pacific. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
On November 3, 1947, he was united in marriage to Anna Louise Weatherwax in Harrison, Arkansas.
JW enjoyed working with his hands and was constantly doing building projects. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ. JW was selected to participate in Honor Flight #26 in November of 2014 to Washington D.C. to view the World War Memorials.
JW was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and his oldest son Ron Cryderman.
JW is survived by his wife Anna L. Cryderman of the home, two sons, Don Cryderman and wife DeeDee of Jefferson City, Missouri; Jeff Cryderman and wife Michelle of Harrisonville, Missouri; daughter-in-law Kathi Cryderman of Springfield, Missouri; 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Kari, Brandon, Chris, Brian, Joseph, Donnie, Kimberly, and Erin; 11 great grandchildren, Reagan, Conner, Noland, Lily, Sawyer, Blaze, Harper, Roman, Teegan, Crystal, Gia, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A celebration of life service was held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Family received friends Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the funeral home. Inurnment is in Rivermont Memorial Gardens, Springfield, Missouri, Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 2:00 pm.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Fairhaven Childrens Home, Strafford, Missouri.
