JoAnn Snook of Creighton, Missouri was born November 26, 1939 in Licking, Missouri the daughter of Cash Elmer and Lucindia Dorine (Beasley) Poore. She departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of 75 years, 7 months and 20 days. On May 3, 1956 JoAnn was united in marriage to Finis Benjamin "Junior" Snook Jr. in Kansas City, Missouri.
JoAnn was a homemaker. She loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. JoAnn enjoyed going on trips with her family, quilting, crocheting, embroidering, gardening and fishing.
Besides her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Junior on June 30, 1999; a son, Robert on April 24, 2012; two sisters, Cynthia Halstaed and Linda Sue Poore.
JoAnn is survived by a son, John Snook, Creighton, Missouri; three daughters, Cindy Lafferty (Patrick), Kansas City, Missouri, Janet Wiseman, Creighton, Missouri, Elizabeth Arias (Joe), Wichita Falls, Texas; seven grandchildren, Chris, Jason, Benjamin, Daniel, Alan, Sarah and Rachel; ten great-grandchildren, Austin, Kole, Tucker, Kale, Charlotte JoAnn, Lexie, Chase, Landon, Benjamin and Logan; a brother, Cashes E. Poore, Kansas City, Kansas; four sisters, Barbara Davis, Shell Knob, Missouri, Velma Burdiss, Granby, Missouri, Charlene White, Monett, Missouri, Lilth Berry-Arnold, Tonganoxie, Kansas; other relatives and a host of friends.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 20, 2015 at the Byler Cemetery near Creighton, Missouri.
Family suggest that memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
