John A. Blaine

John A. Blaine of Garden City, Missouri was born February 25, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Lee Roy and Evelyn Virginia (Jones) Blaine. He departed this life on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by love and family at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 18 days.
On June 27, 1986, John was united in marriage to Bobi (Edler) Bevan in East Lynne, Missouri.
John was a master electrician for several different companies in the Kansas City, Missouri area until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Heartland Baptist Fellowship near Harrisonville, Missouri. John collected knives, eagle statues and enjoyed watching westerns on the western channel.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Blaine and a sister, Virginia Bass.
John is survived by his wife, Bobi Blaine of the home; five sons, John Arthur Blaine and wife Sally, Kyle, Texas, Billy Blaine and wife Josie, San Antonio, Texas, Shane Bevan and wife Karen, Chesapeake, Virginia, John Lloyd Untermeyer, Garden City, Missouri, Glenn Bevan and wife Kim, Harrisonville, Missouri; 19 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Chester Leroy Blaine and wife Sandy, Peculiar, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Live service was held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Heartland Baptist Fellowship, 21203 E. 283rd Street, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
