Mrs. Juanita J. Watson of Butler, Missouri was born August 19, 1925 in Chariton, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Nellie (Hall) Jones. She departed this life Sunday, March 26, 2006, Medicalodge of Butler at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 7 days.
On, November 20, 1947, Juanita was united in marriage to David A. Watson in Kansas City, Missouri.
Juanita was employed as a secretary for General Services Administration at the Bannister Service Center, Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Harrisonville, Missouri. Juanita enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, baking and antiques. She had lived in Kansas City and Harrisonville before moving to Butler in 2003.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Nick Jones and a sister, Eva Garrington.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Watson of the home; two sons, Larry Watson and wife, Pam; Raytown, Missouri, Ross Watson and wife, Pat, Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, David, James, Frank and Leah; four great-grandchildren, Cole, Ross, Kash and Ashton; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Twin Lakes Hospice.
