Hannah Kathleen "Kathy" Nash, of Harrisonville, Missouri was born November 2, 1938 in Smalett, Missouri the daughter of Charles and Clarrissa Rae (Davis) Goodnight. She departed this life on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by love and family at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 13 days.
On May 12, 1957, Kathy was united in marriage to Jerry Dean Nash at the Walnut Grove Church. Kathy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church on the Rock, Harrisonville for 40 years. Kathy loved gardening, sewing, playing canasta with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She was known to her family as the "Best Cook in Cass County" especially her Blackberry Cobbler and her Brisket.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Jack Nash and Savanah Nash; a great-granddaughter, Jubilee Gibler; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Kathy is survived by her husband Jerry Nash of the home; 7 children, Pam Nash Osborn and husband Steve, Greg Nash and wife Marcia, Becky Nash Anderson and husband Jr., Carla Nash Norman and husband Bruce, James Nash all of Harrisonville, Missouri, Tim Nash and wife Bonnie, Peculiar, Missouri, and Paul Nash and wife Stephanie, Harrisonville, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Naida Hayden, Ava, Missouri and Faith Haskins, Thornfield, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Church on the Rock, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Garden City Cemetery.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Care Hospice, Harrisonville, Missouri.
