Pamela Kay Johnson of Harrisonville, Missouri was born September 24, 1954 in Independence, Missouri the daughter of Robert G. and Mary L. (Rice) Reiss. She departed this life on Monday, March 23, 2020 at the Kansas City Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri, with her husband Robert by her side, at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 28 days.
On October 5, 2002, Kay was united in marriage to Robert Phillip Johnson in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Kay was employed as a Sales Coordinator for Standard Insurance company in Overland Park, Kansas was a Sister of the Bodacious Girlfriend's Happy Hatters of Harrisonville MO.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert “Robby” Reiss and her beloved dog, Gabby Johnson.
Kay is survived by her husband, Robert “Bubba” Johnson of the home; a son, Michael Smith and wife Heather, Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Denni Watson, Edwardsville Kansas and Salena Brown and husband Jim, Moore, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Kaylee Masters, Emma Goss and husband Jason, Anna Frye, Zianni Geraci;
a sister, Kelly Mlynarik and husband Clint, Bellevue, Nebraska; her two furry babies, Mya and Dobber; other relatives and many friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
Service time will be posted when it becomes available.
