Kenneth 'Kenny' L. Setzer

Kenneth "Kenny" Lloyd Setzer of Harrisonville, Missouri was born October 29, 1940 in Garden City, Missouri the son of John and Hattie (Mosier) Setzer. He departed this life on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Golden Years Care Services, Harrisonville at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 19 days.

On May 12, 1967, Kenny was united in marriage to Carol Ann Hicks in Miami, Oklahoma. Kenny was owner and operator truck driver until his retirement in 2016. He loved working in his garden and always looked forward to the family reunions.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Travis and Randy Setzer; two sisters, Datha Setzer Southard and Norene Setzer Paul; a brother Charles L. Setzer; a niece and two nephews.

Kenny is survived by wife of 49 years, Carol Setzer; two sons, Tim Setzer and his wife Julie and Quinton Setzer; a daughter, Robin Fleischer and husband Rick; daughter-in-laws, Lori Setzer Brumitt and Shari Setzer Hadley; 4 granddaughters; 5 grandsons; several great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Lois Rich and husband Robert, Evelyn Setzer Boyer, Anita Setzer Fickle, Marjorie Adams and husband Dale; two brothers, Richard Setzer and Ronald Setzer and wife Marty; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Harrisonville.
