Kirk A. Wyatt

May 13, 1971 — January 3, 2012

Kirk Anthony Wyatt of Harrisonville, Missouri was born may 13, 1971 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Leonard Wayne and Nancy Kay (Tittle) Wyatt. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 surrounded by his family at Benchmark Healthcare of Harrisonville at the age of 40 years, 7 months and 20 days. Kirk loved taking things a part and putting them back together, welding, fabricating and building things. He enjoyed dune buggies, 4 wheelers, motorcycles, dirt bikes, old hot rods, fishing, duck hunting and catching crawdads. He pretty much liked anything that went fast and was loud. Kirk liked making money if he thought he could make a buck on something he was in. In 2003 he was diagnosed with M.S. and with his luck it had to be a fast advancing aggressive form. He fought a long hard battle and tried several medications old and new but with no avail. Later, he developed a seizure disorder on top of everything else and it made it just that much worse. Kirk was a 1990 graduate of Harrisonville High School and had attended the welding classes at Cass Career Center. He had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Independence and had returned back to Harrisonville to be near his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Edith Tittle; paternal grandfather, Leonard Wyatt and an uncle, Frank Wyatt. Kirk is survived by his parents, Leonard and Nancy Wyatt; his sister, Kara Wilson and husband, Jeff; two nieces, Ashlyn and Alyssa all of Harrisonville, Missouri; his paternal grandmother, Ann Wyatt, Independence, Missouri; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of friends. Kirk will be greatly missed but is now at Peace and no longer in any pain. We loved him so much!
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation.
