Kristine Marie Crawford, 49, of Pleasant Hill, was born, October 18, 1964, the daughter of James Walter and Patricia Marie (Vittorino) Harper. She departed this life Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at the St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri, surrounded with love and family.
Kristine was a 1984 Ray-Pec High School Graduate. She later earned an accounting degree from Platte College.
On June 27, 1987, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bobby” Clay Crawford in Peculiar, Missouri.
Kristine has been employed in accounting for the Cornerstones of Care, DMI in Greenwood, the Rival Company, Sun Aviation, Baxter Healthcare, Dodson Insurance, and Central Co-op. In her spare time she enjoyed craft making, making jewelry, reading and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family; especially her Friday nights spent watching movies at home with Bobby and her children.
She is survived by her husband Bobby of the home; two children, Jonathan Clay Crawford and Amanda Marie Crawford, both of the home; her parents Jim and Pat of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one brother, Kelly (and Teresa) Harper of Lee’s Summit; one nephew Jacob Harper; one niece, Haley Harper of Lee’s Summit; other relatives; and many friends.
The family hosted a memorial gathering Sunday, January 19, 2014, at the Pleasant Hill Masonic Lodge, 1480 Broadway, Pleasant Hill, Missouri 64080.
Funeral services were held Monday, January 20, 2014, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home. Reverend Carl Knapp will officiate. Interment is in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers are Kelly Harper, Clay Hocker, Chuck Kingsolver, Ryan Whistle, Colby Yoder, and Steve Yoder.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kristine M. Crawford Memorial Fund or St. Luke's Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
