Larry Wolfe

Lawrence Gaylord "Larry" Wolfe of Garden City, Missouri was born July 9, 1939 in Broken Bow, Nebraska the son of Claude Howard and Grace Della (Criss) Wolfe. He departed this life on Monday, March 21, 2016 at his home surrounded by love and family at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 13 days.
On February 24, 1996 Larry was united in marriage to Deborah Bush in Garden City, Missouri.
Larry was employed as a material handler for General Motors Leeds Plant, Kansas City, Missouri until his retirement in 1989. He later was employed as a floor technician for Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing and brush hogging around his farm and was a jokester to all of his friends and family.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Wolfe.
Larry is survived by his wife, Debbie Wolfe of the home; a son, Jeffery Bush and wife, Teresa, Garden City, Missouri; two daughters, Brenda Reed, Clinton, Missouri, Melinda Jarrett, Harrisonville, Missouri; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Howard Wolfe, Raymore, Missouri, Richard Wolfe, Raytown, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
Cremation. A Celebration of Life Visitation was held Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
