Leslie "Les" David Willey

Leslie “Les” David Willey, of Cleveland, Missouri was born March 19, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of William Ragan and Mary Amelia (Kempinger) Willey. He departed this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at his home surrounded by love and family at the age of 73 years, 10 months and 6 days.

On September 23, 1965, Les was united in marriage to Judith Lee Crooks in Harrisonville, Missouri.

Les was part owner and operator of Willey Disposal Inc. in Cleveland, Missouri. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his grandchildren and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Sonny and Wayne Willey.

Les is survived by his wife, Judy Willey of the home; 3 sons, Robert “Bob” Willey and wife Cindy, Watford City, North Dakota, Patrick “Pat” Willey and wife Cindy and William “Bill” Willey and wife Angela all of Cleveland, Missouri; 8 grandchildren, Lyndsey, Christopher, Sabrina, Nick, Tylor, Cameron, Ciera and Ragan; a great-granddaughter, Olivia; 2 brothers, Ed Willey, Overland Park, Kansas and Jack Willey, Cleveland, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Bill and Angela Willey's house.

Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice and can be made by check to Brookdale Hospice, and mailed to 5401 College Blvd. Suite 112, Overland Park, Kansas 66211.
