Leslie Morrison

Leslie Dwyane Morrison of Harrisonville, Missouri was born August 15, 1943 in Holden, Missouri the son of Rolla and Hazel Lucna (Fellhour) Morrison. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Cass Regional Medical Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 13 days.
On August 15, 1963 Leslie was united in marriage to Theressa Ann (Kinney) West.
Leslie owned and operated Les’s Mobile Service in Harrisonville until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, watching dirt track racing and playing the lottery. Leslie was of the Methodist faith was a lifelong area resident.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Rolla Lanute Morrison.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Theressa A. Morrison of the home; six sons, John A. West and wife, Alice, Archie, Missouri, Tom A. West and wife, Roxanne, Garden City, Missouri, Tim A. West, Urich, Missouri, Leslie D. Morrison Jr., Harrisonville, Missouri, Luke A. Morrison, Harrisonville, Missouri, Darrell Morrison and wife, Rebecca, Raymore, Missouri; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Marjorie Morrison Hall, Holden, Missouri; other relatives and a host of friends.
A Celebraion of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the VFW Post 4409, 1804 N. Commercial St, Harrisonville, Missouri.
