Mrs. Linea Lynn Tracy, of Freeman, Missouri was born April 8, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of James Lee and Dorothy Ann (Martin) Lancaster. She departed this life Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her home in Freeman at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 10 days.
On July 26, 1975, Linea was united in marriage to Michael Gene Tracy in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Linea was a homemaker. Her number one joy in life was taking care of her grandkids. She also enjoyed taking walks, camping, gardening and reading. Linea attended the First Baptist Church in Freeman and did volunteer work at the Freeman Community Club.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dylan Tracy on December 25, 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Michael G. Tracy of the home; a son, Mitchell Gene Tracy and a daughter, Naomi Lynn Tracy and finacee, Kenneth Mayfield all of Freeman, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Shyan, Lucas and Marshall; two brothers, Leslie Ray Lancaster, Raymore, Missouri, Michael D. Lancaster, Stockton, Missouri; a sister, Lyneta Johnson, Blue Springs, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri. Cremation with inurnment in the Clearfork cemetery, Garden City, Missouri at a later date.
Family suggest memorial contributions may be made to the Linea Tracy memorial fund.
