Lois Marie Phillips

Lois Marie Phillips, of Belton, Missouri, was born July 2, 1941 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Earl Theodore and Ada Louise (Carnes) Dykes. She departed this life Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her home at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 15 days. Lois was employed as a clerk for Black & Veach in Kansas City, Missouri until her retirement in 2002. Earlier she had been a cosmetologist on the Plaza and lived on the Plaza for many years. Lois was a Pleasant Hill High School graduate. She enjoyed traveling, especially going to the beach and ocean. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Brown. Lois is survived by her brother, Wayne Dykes, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; many nieces and nephews and friends.
Cremation. A memorial service was held Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Harrisonville, Missouri.
