Luella Marie Hall, 81, of Wheatland, Missouri died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Luella was born October 28, 1930, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the daughter of Alfred Groves and Lucille (Smith) Groves.
Lou was married to Bob for 61 years as their never ending love continued to grow. She was a wonderful and devoted wife to her husband and mother to her five sons, always caring and helpful while adding that ever present positive attitude and support. Lou was loved by many and was truly one of those unique individuals who never met a stranger. She was always a lady and was there to lend a helping hand and a pleasant smile to everyone. Lou was a woman with simple ideals who loved and enjoyed life to the fullest measure. She enjoyed being on the water and relaxing with family and friends … Lou simply loved people. She will leave a tremendous void in all our lives as she continues on to be with our Lord. We can celebrate her life knowing she loved us all and that we are a lot richer for having her in our lives and loving her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Hall; brother, Troy Kellems; and step-father, Harold Kellems.
Lou is survived by her husband, William Robert “Bob” Hall, Sr. of the home; four sons, William Robert Hall, Jr. of Cleveland, Missouri; Steven Keith Hall; Kevin Scott Hall and his wife, Terrie, of Archie, Missouri; and Daniel Wayne Hall of Olathe, Kansas; a former daughter-in-law, Kim Hall, of Cleveland, Missouri; brother-in-law and sister, Joe and Shirley Lammert of Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
