Margaret Standley, long time resident of Garden City, Missouri, passed away January 27, 2007 at her home.
Margaret, who was known by the nickname Sam, was born June 4, 1938. She was an entrepreneur, owning several businesses before her retirement a few years ago.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
She is survived by her 4 children, Mark and his wife Gayla, Christie and her husband Paul, Kelly and her husband Mark and David and his wife Kim as well as 2 grandsons, Brandon and Brock, 3 granddaughters, Gabrielle, Adrianna and Bayle, one great-granddaughter, Katie and her beloved dog Lacey. We would like to thank her friends in Garden City for all of their help, enabling Mom to live her last years independently.
A celebration of life service was held Saturday, February 3, 2007 at the First Christian Church, Garden City, Missouri.
Family suggests contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
